Army4aBethnal Green Volunteers, Light Infantry, 1799. At the end of the 18th century there was a danger of invasion which precipitated volunteers companies to be formed. Uniform was that of the regular army with slight variations.

Cannon-c Canons are prone to misfiring and in some cases exploding, injuring or killing the operators. It was not unusual to lose a finger or two, or have an arm blown off while ramming the 'shot' home.
